The THN pot of gold

Recently our client needed some truly exceptional respondents to represent the face of a client brand and participate in very detailed 6-hour ethnos. Our Gold Star community was the first recruitment tool for the Project Manager.

The elusive Gold Star respondent!

To be considered a Gold Star in the THN family is no easy feat and often takes more than a positive and glowing comment from a moderator to make it onto our list. We have a high level of engaging, energetic and reliable people on our panel – in fact we believe that they are the best, so the member needs to be "solid gold" through and through.

The interaction between the Project Manager, and the respondent during the recruitment process – often intuitive, and very intangible – is dynamic, fast, mini relationship-building at its best.

We pay particular attention to:

  • Their survey responses including any creative questions, grammar, spelling and punctuation, as well as any comments made ad hoc.
  • Their responsiveness
  • How articulate they are 
  • Their attendance track record, punctuality and completion of any pre tasks
  • Client feedback

Project Managers ensure that regular notes are made on the panel database about respondents, and the true top tier of respondents emerge quite smoothly. Project Managers will have their own memory of particularly fabulous people, and this knowledge is shared so that when a challenging project emerges, we have a pool of people to draw on, and engage with to find the right one, or ones, for our client.
